Shocking Video Shows Brutal Dog Killing in North Limoeiro, Brazil

Unreported in major newspapers in the country or any English media, Houston News reports a shocking crime story that has been made public on blogs in Brazil.

(Note: The video linked below in this post has Strong Violent Content. Do Not Watch if you are Faint of Heart or Sensitive.)

Humans sometimes can be as low and barbaric in reality as these words mean in a dictionary. You might think this, at first, an
overstatement about the most “advanced” form of life, as they have been called. But what has been reported from Brazil lately is more than enough to attest the intensity of the statement in question.

The incident caught on tape was viewed in this shocking video of a man killing a dog in vegetation off the road. The bleeding dog is seen crying in helplessness, fear, and pain while the shirtless man clubs it repeatedly on its head and muzzle, as another guy tapes the video from above. The dog soon dies after repeated fatal blows by the killer while both the killer and the guy videotaping the murder laugh as if enjoying the act.

Blogs in Portugese, dated April 23rd, inform that the incident happened in North Limoeiro and the dog killer in the video is has been identified by the police; however, they are not revealing his identity and calling him a supposed name of Antonio Medeiros; while his son taped the incident. The blog also tells that the blood was spilled just “for fun”. The victimized dog is said to be owned by a lady named Ivone Maria of Pond Carnaúbas who, upon identifying the dead body of her pet, went to the civil police in North Limoeiro to “file a complaint” against her neighbor, who according to her account was the one committing the horrid act.

However, as reported previously from this country, police hardly takes interest in doing their duty. Here too, they kept prevaricating on the woman’s report until several visits were made to the police station by the lady and an outrage started in the city when the video was posted on blogs and citizens started reacting. At the time of the latest blog about the killing, the killer was still at large even though the police knew about his identity.

While updates will be provided on availability from Brazil, to remind readers, North Limoeiro is the same Limoeiro do Norte whose hotels keep inviting foreign tourists to stay there and enjoy their travel and the beauty of its flower bouquets is praised on flower-selling websites.

How enjoyable can it be staying in a place where police doesn’t arrest sadistic killers of helpless, innocent animals? How beautiful are its flowers, red in the blood of victims of brutality and stinking of it? These and many questions can be raised and should be raised now, for silence over murder is akin to playing accomplice in the crime.

At the moment, only a handful of caring people, like those running Dogs in Brazil, are working for helping the troubled, victimized dogs in the country and a lot more needs to be done to save the canines from human neglect and cruelty in the country.

* There is hearsay that the video of the killing reported above may be removed soon. Houston News will use the video for its record and/for for possible use in any updates on the issue.

  1. I will not watch the video…it’s heartbreaking enough to read what this bastard did to this poor dog..and the person who made the video…slime…worse than slime…they both need locked up and beat like they beat this poor dog…God…forgive me but I hate people more and more every day. Someone needs to speak for this poor baby…I don’t care what country it happens in..the abuse of animal laws need to be made stronger EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!

  2. Larisa Scharikin says:

The laws in Brazil are not always applied when it comes to animal abuse. Justice is slow and sometimes does not happen. The world needs to get outraged and demand these killers be brought to justice and that they serve as an example of what will happen when you abuse animals. These men are not human..they are a waste of space and air and in my opinion should receive the same fate.nn1

  3. dori buttterick says:

  4. frances bell says:

if these men can do such terrible thing to this poor dog then they can do the same to a child or an adult. if they are not punished for this terrible crime they will go on to do murder. they must be stopped at all costs.nn1

  5. Madline Mesmer says:

Any brutality is unacceptable….laughing while brutalizing an animal…especially a neighbors pet…this is horrid….these men must be prosecuted…it is unacceptable to be wicked towards animals….now the authorities ust get whisked to the criminal behavior and lock them up. Poor dog, poor neighbor…disgraceful men…nn1

  6. Patty Kuhner says:

Arrest this subhuman, this is murder.

  7. Lali Danube says:

My sympathy goes out to the victim’s guardian. To see and hear the barbaric act being committed on her beloved is beyound bearable. The woman is being tortured just as surely as her pet. Perhaps the woman should file charges against the man for cruelty against her. For this is true emotional and mental cruelty and torture.

  8. rebecca mcelwain says:

Outraged over the so called law there! Be ashamed of your people and of your country! NO TOURIST SHOULD GO THERE!!!!

  9. Janine Pavlik says:

This is how serial killers start. They start with animals and move on to people. This individual needs to be removed from society. Death Penalty.
