Enrollment for College Application Crash Courses to be Held at The Houstonian

One-stop resource for college applications and secondary school success announces schedule for private summer classes to assist students, parents and educators with customized college applications nationwide

Houston, Tex.—announced this week its summer schedule for personalized, targeted college applications courses, to be held at The Houstonian (111 N. Post Oak Lane, Houston, 77024). Courses are available to any student who meets course enrollment requirements and deadlines. The All-in-One Academics week-long College Application Crash Courses are designed to coach and guide high school students through the journey of writing compelling college applications, with guidance tailored to fit each individual student’s needs and colleges of choice.

All-in-One Academics, previously known as All-in-One Applications, offers a full suite of higher education preparatory courses, services, and publications. The organization, founded by Jessica Givens and led by Givens and attorney Amanda Halter, builds upon its longstanding, comprehensive academic excellence programs. The team possesses more than twenty-six collective years of experience in education, law, and academic coaching for high school students preparing for a higher education track.

“Gone are the days of the one-page college application. College-bound high school students must now devote hours and hours to draft and compile the many components of their college applications,” said All-in-One Academics founder and Get Your Summer Strategy On author Jessica Givens. “The All-in-One Academics summer College Application Crash Courses are the best way to get applications done – and done right. Due to student, parent, and educator demand, All-in-One Academics has added new summer 2012 courses with special features, which will be taught in a confidential, comfortable classroom setting at The Houstonian.”

All-in-One’s Crash Courses for both the Common Application and ApplyTexas Application are limited to twelve students per five-day, 30-hour, week-long session and have a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio. Instructors will work closely with each student to create customized, comprehensive applications that will achieve student-specific needs and goals, crafted to set each student apart from the pack of thousands of applicants applying for college admissions each year. The Common Application courses run July 9 – 13 and July 30 – August 3. The Common Application is accepted by more than 400 colleges. ApplyTexas Application courses, for students applying to Texas public universities, run July 16 – 20 and August 13 – 17. Students can enroll in both courses for a substantial discount (see website). Completely private, one-on-one, in-home coaching is also available by appointment and special arrangement with All-in-One Academics.

“In working with parents, students, and educators, All-in-One Academics has a shared mission to ensure that each student shines his or her brightest in the highly competitive, numbers-driven college admissions gauntlet,” said Givens. “The summer 2012 All-in-One Academics Crash Course is the gold standard for every college-bound high school student who seeks a significant edge in the highly competitive college admissions process.”

Enrollment for the 2012 Crash Courses is expected to fill to capacity by early May 2012. Pre-enrollment is available now by registering at the All-in-One Academics website or by phoning 713.405.1193. Catered breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages are included in the Crash Course tuition. Guest speakers and leaders from different sectors of the business, media, and academic communities will be featured during luncheon sessions as a special added element of the Summer 2012 courses.
